The injury list of Real Madrid did shorten significantly so the strong idea of backing Real Sociedad has dried up, I will keep this short and free.
In several preview sites there are still about 10 players absent, but Marcelo, Valverde, Rodrygo and Odriozola are back in squad, and their situation is remarkably better. Long term absentee Ramos is still a big miss, as well as their top scorer Benzema as from the current squad best scorer is defensive midfielder Casemiro with 5 goals!
Despite the absentees Real have gained good results in La Liga, in the only loss in this 7 match run they got an early red card.

Naturally the big game of their last week was the away leg at Atalanta, where they in turn had the luck of an early red card to Atalalanta.
