Mafra are not doing a great season after the amazing last season where they went to the semi-finals of the Portuguese Cup for the first time in their history and due to that amazing campaign it value a lot of players that left the club in the end of the last season like Tomas Domingos, Pedro Aparicio, Rodrigo Martins and Andrezinho but they kept some important players and specially the coach Ricardo Sousa who has still the confidence from the direction of the club. They are one of the most entertaining teams to watch in the 2nd League and are right now in the 12th place, but due to the big competitive season this year they are only 5 points behind the last place the can fight for the promotion to the 1st League. Mafra are very motivated after the last game where they beat Torreense with the winning goal being scored in the last minutes of the game by the talisman Loide Augusto that can be a starter this game on the right-side instead of Diga. This game is very important for them if they want to keep dreaming with the promotion as after this match for sure they will be eliminated on Portuguese Cup as they will face the League and Cup champions - FC Porto.

Covilha are the worst club in my opinion from the whole 2nd League. They started really bad the season with the coach Leonel Pontes that was sacked for bad results and recently they brought the young coach Alex Costa that worked in Guimaraes B in the last seasons. He made already 4 games in Covilha and lost them all against Academico Viseu, Estrela da Amadora, Torreense and Leixoes and this defeat against Leixoes was terrible as Leixoes played almost the whole 2nd half with 10 men and turned from 1-0 to 1-2. They will play against a very motivated team that needs to win aswell and for that I expect an open game because both teams need to get points.
