Napoli's march to winning the Serie A continues as they take on Lazio. It is almost inevitable that Napoli is going to win the Serie A this season with the point gap between them and their closest rival being 18 points. They are going to win this match for these reasons:
Firstly. They are in the best form of their lives this season. They have dispatched almost every opponent they had met in the league this season. Out of the 24 league matches played, they have won 21, drawn 2, and lost one. They have mostly won all their matches with ease, even against their traditional biggest rivals. With their victory against Empoli last weekend, that made it eight games won in a streak. Napoli have the best offensive and defensive records in the league this season. Lazio are not doing so bad themselves, seeing that they are in the top 4 of Serie A. But when you look at the point gap between the two, 25 points, the difference between the qualities of both teams becomes quite glaring. Lazio do have the second-best defensive record this season. They have kept clean sheets in their last two matches. But I do not think that is enough to be able to keep Napoli at bay. The quality of Napoli is going to be too good and too much for them. Napoli's counter-attacks are frightening. I just do not see Lazio being able to keep them at bay throughout the match.
Secondly. I see Napoli winning this game because two of their attacking players are in frightening forms. Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The other teams in the league do not seem to have found a way to stop them. With 31 goals and 18 assists between them, they are going to be key to Napoli winning the game. Both or either of them are bound to cause havoc for Lazio.
Napoli are very strong this season, both in domestic and international competitions. I do not see them coming out of this match with anything less than a win. So, I give them a straight win.
