Unfortunately, Richard Garcia's men failed to earn points in their last home game, losing 1-2 to Central Coast Mariners. The last time they hosted Sydney didn't end well, with the hosts losing 1-3.
Trent Buhagiar, Michael Zullo, and Christopher Zuvela are the injured ones for Sydney. Contrary to the hosts, the defense has been Syndey's greatest asset this season. The guests are the league's best defense, conceding only eleven times so far. They have lost in just one of their previous eleven visits to Perth, and have won seven of those. Their last visit was a 1-1 draw against Brisbane Roar, but that was also the game that got Sydney out of their losing streak, and has put them on a winning one instead.
Honestly, Corica's Sydney isn't the same dominating side that won the league last year. However, they are still the favorites to win this one, and will be my pick for the Wednesday game. Good luck!
