Suwon Bluewings will try to extend their five-game winning streak against Jeju United on Sunday. Interestingly enough, six of Jeju's eight games since joining the top-tier ended as draws. Playing quite defensively, Jeju has conceded just six goals so far, but is tied for the league's worst offense, finding the net only six times. The hosts failed to win their previous five matches, with four of those ending without a winner. Similarly to the hosts, Bluewings' games have also been quite close this season, with a goal difference of 8-6 over the span of eight games. The guests are without a triumph for three consecutive matches, and could make it four if we see another draw in the upcoming game.
The hosts have lost at home this season, winning once and sharing the points three times in four games. Jeju hasn't won in their previous fifteen games against Suwon at home, with the last triumph occurring back in 2012. Nam Ki-il's squad is tied with the last-place team for the least victories in the first-tier. It is a matter of time when the more experienced squads will find a way to break their defensive playstyle, and the upcoming guests may be the ones to do so. I cannot see Jeju winning this one, and will go with Suwon as the winner if the two sides don't share points.
Park Kun-Ha's men are yet to be defeated away from home this season, with one victory and two stalemates in three visits. Bluewings still haven't conceded a goal on the road, but have scored all three in their 0-3 victory against Pohang. They are coming from a goalless draw against Incheon. The guests need to find at least a point in this one if they wish to fight for the top-six.
