This is the type of bet I personally practice very often, but as everyone is so concerned with numbers and winning records on the platform, it’s a sort of call nobody is keen to publish.
I don’t have much to lose given the performance in recent weeks has been hit and miss, hence I am just publishing this out for your consideration and view, giving 2 strong arguments for the suggested pick.
With 15 points left to play for and a -7 points handicap from Bayern - RB Leipzig is still “potentially” in the title race, but in reality they’ve lost it. There was no desire or will to take 3 points by all means, even though a victory then could mean a lot for their title ambitions. Apparently, the squad and coaching staff do not believe that catching Bayern is possible - and rightly so. Flick’s machine only lost 3 times over the course of the entire season, imagining they lose at least 3 times with games against Mainz, Freiburg or Augsburg is nothing but a dream.
This said, I can with 95% confidence say the season for RB is over. It does not matter if they finish 2nd or 3rd, trust me, for professionals of this level there is only 1 position that matters at the season - being first or nothing. The Champions league berth for next season is in the bag - RB is +12 points clear of BVB, meaning to drop to 5th spot RB will have to lose all remaining games with BVB winning all of theirs.
Koln is down in relegation waters, lost 4 of last 5, but they fight for their lives here. Motivation edge is enormous in their favour and with Leipzig showing such attitude as they had on Friday last week, Koln will have chances for points.
There are various options for consideration, from +1.5 handicap to direct 1x2 home win on the market. I am giving the one with bigger odds.
This is the best time of the year for such bold moves and even if just 1 of such 6 bets eventually prove successful, you will still get profit in the long run. It is just a matter of being consistent and finding cases like these on a regular basis. I am giving Koln a chance for a surprising result tonight.
