Game day in Frankfurt for the round 1 of the group E between Belgium & Slovakia.
Belgium is without Courtois because of a conflict between him & the coach. Of course it's a big issue to be without the best GK in the world. Witsel & Meunier didn't train lately so it's hard to see them start for this game. Vertonghen, Theate & Thielemans were back at training but they should not be fit enough for this game.
Slovakia will be without Satka & Tomic who weren't selected
On their last friendly game, Belgium faced Montenegro & Luxembourg and made two wins. A good thing for the confidence but we also could see that Trossard wasn't performing well and that he is maybe better as a substitute. Lukaku of course confirmed that he was a must in this team and that a player like Openda wouldn't be able to replace him.
Slovakia on their side had a very easy friendly against San Marino and won 4-0 then made a great performance against Wales 4-0.
I expect Belgium to go with a 4-3-2-1 with Casteels, De Cuyper, Fae, Debast & Castagne for the defensive side. Midfield with Mangala & Onana for the defensive task & offensively Doku, De Bruyne & Lukaku in front and maybe Trossard on the right side but I doubt according to the last performance.
