Great at home throughout the year, Adelaide is looking forward to securing the last playoffs spot in the Australian top division. A triumph in the upcoming duel could help Adelaide climb the ladder, as just two points separate the sixth from the third-placed team. After barely missing the playoffs last year, this season has been quite an improvement for the hosts. Historically, they have been a better side in their clashes vs. the Wanderers here, but have suffered to defeat Wanderers at the Coopers Stadium recently, losing twice in 2019 at home. I can see the hosts defeating Western Sydney for the second time in 2021, and will hope for that outcome to occur.
WS Wanderers haven't done well away from home in the ongoing campaign, winning just three of the twelve visits. Miller's men are on a three-game away losing streak. Wanderers haven't won for six consecutive visits, with their last away triumph being a minimal one against Western United. This side won only one of its last nine games on the road, and is terrible at replicating home performances on its opponents' grounds.
