They have been one of the best teams in the tournament so far. They showed why they are among the main title contenders, although they are in a generational rejuvenation, several players have been great so far. They will need to be very solid in defense to have chances in this fixture, given the quality that the USA has upfront. However, they have not defended well so far, conceding chances and goals in all games.
I expect an open game, where Japan will be happy to defend and make counters as they did against Spain.
