Last game in England before the International break comes and one of the biggest games in the weekend – Chelsea will face Arsenal.
I don’t want to agree to see Chelsea as underdogs in this game here. Both teams are pretty much the same, but the best part if we look on recent form and team schedules is that Chelsea played conference league game on Thursday at home while Arsenal had very hard game in Italy where they faced Inter.
I don’t see this game as very high scoring so I think we can catch some 1-1 or maybe even 0-0 also in this game, but I don’t believe in fact that Arsenal can leave this game with 3 points.
Chelsea is playing very strong at home this season – first round loss against City back in August, but the game in general was very close. Then after that only draws or wins in League games and Conference league as well. Of course, they play two levels lower than Arsenal in International competition, but still they play, they have game practice and sometimes it’s better to win against weaker opponent than struggle against harder opponent.
Arsenal have lost two games in a row and before than two 2 rounds ago they lost on road against Bournemouth. Great season start to struggle a little bit for them and it’s pretty clear, so that’s why I don’t see reason why they are favorites in this game here.
