In my opinion Spain is clear favorite of today's match up and they should be able to make comfortable win with at least 2 goals margin.
Poland have awful memories from last encounter against Spanish team. When they played against in friendly match they lost 0:6 and some players from the team still remember that game.
Poland have huge disadvantage before today's match. They played first group match against Slovakia in St. Petersburg. Now match in Sevilla, totally different conditions - much hotter and they have to travel a lot, this is not helpful at all. Spain stayed at home and they feel in those hot conditions like fish in the water.
Atmosphere in Polish team is really, really bad. Expectations before tournament were big, knockout stage was their minimum goal. Very bad loss in opening match against poor Slovakia. Poland had problems with creativity, Poland have problems with rhythm and big chances at the back - they conceded 2 silly goals. Is hard to see improvement, especially in defensive formation - Poland in last matches conceded 3 goals against Hungary, they conceded 2 goals against reserve Iceland squad and 2 goals against Slovakia. So how many goals Spain is able to score today?
I believe they are able to score more than 2 without big problems. In opening match they recorded draw 0:0 against Sweden, but that was very unfortunate outcome. Spain fully dominated that game, they had 85% ball possession, they created a lot of chances and according to expected goals scored model they should score 2.35. If they keep play on that level I don't see any chances for Poland.
This is 'must win' game for both teams, so I see open match. If Spain will score first then Poland will have to open up and that will be huge opportunity for Spain to have more space and create chances for next goals.
I trust for Spain here and that should be routine win for them.
