In my opinion Denmark have really good chances to make 3 points in today's match up.
I believe Denmark have really good advantage because of placement of this game. Denmark in third consecutive match will play at home, at Parken. For sure this is big comfort as they don't have to travel at all. On the other hand Russia played first two games at home in St. Petersburg, so for sure this is not easy for them and very interesting how they will deal with that.
Experts around the world before start of Euro2020 expected much better performance from Denmark than from Russia in this tournament. That wasn't surprising predictions because Denmark on the paper is stronger team. In Russian team almost all players from Russian league which declined a lot in last years. In Denmark You can see players from top teams like Milan, Chelsea, Tottenham or RBL.
Unfortunately, they lost two opening matches, but they played well and without any shadow of doubt they deserved for something more. They lost 0:1 against Finland where Finland had 1 shot, Denmark had 22.. In last match they played against top class Belgium. They lost 1:2 after high quality match and they played really good - they had 21 shots (15 more than Belgium). Russia made 3 points in first two matches, but they didn't played better than Denmark. In opening match they lost badly 0:3 against Belgium. Only 5 shots, 34% ball possession and 0.26 expected goals scored. In last match they won 1:0 against Finland in low quality encounter. Russia had only 0.98 expected goals scored and 0.77 expected goals conceded.
Denmark is solid at the back and defenders trio Vestergaard, Kjaer and Christensen are able to stop Russian biggest star, striker Dzyuba. On the other hand Denmark firepower is very hard to stop. Final match at home, home crowd should bring a lot of energy. I believe after Eriksen situation all players are on mission and they will give today absolutely everything to win.
