Croatia qualified with some suffering after 1 defeat, 1 draw and 1 win against Scotland. They have good quality with the ball and in offensive organization but when Croatia don't have the ball the problems appear and they will face the team that has the most ball possession of this Euro 2020. I think they will face a lot of problems to control the spaces without the ball and so I think we will have a Spain creating many many chances here. They have a very important absence, Ivan Perisic that will miss the game after testing Positive to Covid-19. Vlasic had a very good impact in the last game against Scotland (3-1).
Probable line-up: Livakovic; Vrsaljko - Lovren - Vida - Gvardiol; Brozovic - Modric - Kovacic; Rebic - Vlasic - Petkovic.
Spain needed to suffer to get qualified with 2 undeserved draws against Sweden and Poland but when they needed to win they destroyed Slovakia with a clear 5-0 victory. I already said here that Spain, in my opinion, is the favorite team to win this competition and I keep thinking the same. They showed against Slovakia how strong they are, after a penalty miss by Morata at the minute 12 the team could feel the pressure but it didn't affect them and they kept dominating the game. Even with that miss is expected that Morata will keep on the starting XI as Luis Enrique wanted to show to the spanish national that he is a quality and after the applauses from the fans when Morata was replaced against Slovakia I think that he is really motivated and will score a goal in this game. They will dominate Croatia and will have like 60-70% of ball possession and will create a lot of chances to score. I think they are really motivated after this amazing victory and will destroy whoever they will face along their route. The game will be played in Copenhagen (Denmark) so there is no home factor.
