In my opinion Italy have really good chances to make good result in today's match up. I see them as a much bigger favorite than bookies suggests for us in odds. +0 AH looks like great and very safe bet here.
I believe Italy have good advantage in fitness department before today's match. Spain in last two matches needed extra times to beat Croatia and Switzerland, for sure that drilled them mentally and physically. For me is interesting to see how key defenders like Laporte or Azpilicueta will react for 120 minutes in two matches in a row. For sure is not easy to deal with. Italy in this tournament conceded only 2 goals. Spain conceded already 5 goals, but they should even more: expected goals conceded 7.49. Tiredness of key Spanish defenders could give even bigger edge for Italian team and that might key factor here.
In overall I'm much more impressed by Italian team performance in current tournament, they simply played football on the higher level than Spain and they are looks like much more stable team. Spain lost lead from 3:1 to 3:3 against Croatia in 7 minutes and that showed how immature in some key moments this team is. In last match they played against Switzerland, they had lead 1:0 and still they weren't able to deliver positive result till the end, they conceded goal after very silly defensive formation mistake and they weren't able to score another goal despite the fact they played last part of the match with one more player on the pitch after red card for Swiss team. On the other hand Italy in last round against great Belgium (2:1) showed consistency, stability and clinical finish in key moments. This is what You need to achieve success on the biggest stage. Maybe some people's will not agree with me, but in my eyes Italy have better squad and for sure have better manager on the bench. I'm sure Mancini is able to prepare better game plan for this match than Enrique.
Spain don't had hard opponents on the way till now, Italian team is first real test to face for them. Italy already passed such a test against top class team which Belgium for sure is. Confidence should be sky high on their side. For me Italy have freshness, have higher quality in squad, is stronger mentally, have better coach on the bench and simply plays better football at the moment, especially in defensive formation which is crucial in knockout stage of major football tournaments. For me is very hard to image Spain as a winner of this match. Italy DNB option is one of the best bet in this tournament until this point.
