Sligo Rovers had a hard-fought draw with Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjörðar at the first leg. They are doing well domestically but it’s hard for them to win over a foreign team.
In their history, Sligo Rovers don’t enjoy good European records. They have only won once in their last s6 European games at home and have only twice come through a European tie in their history, eliminating teams from Lithuania or Malta.
I don’t think they will become a much stronger team back by 500 or so local fans. Teams from Iceland are always well-organized tactically and they will probably take profit of the huge space left by the home team.
