Boavista started this season with a lot of problems. One of those new players is Kenji Gorre, who was playing for Nacional last season, he is really good and very fast and made an incredible game against Pacos assisting the 1st goal. The home factor of Boavista is one of the strongest of the 1st league as they historically are an amazing team, they were already champions of the League. For this game they will play at home, against an opponent that will rotate and for sure is already thinking in the 2nd game against Partizan.

Santa Clara living a chaotic moment. They were one of the best teams of the last season and kept almost the whole team, only lost Fabio Cardoso to Porto. In the last week they had 10 covid cases in the team (9 of them players) and they tried to postpone the match against Moreirense because they want to have some rest to represent Portugal well but Moreirense didn’t accept that and so they played Thursday (12th) against Ljubljana and on Sunday (15th) against Moreirense and most recently played on Thursday (19th) against Partizan for the 1st leg of Conference League. They are from the island of Azores, and so they travelled today from Azores to Portugal Continental and on Wednesday will need to flight again to Serbia. They don’t have time for training, they are just playing, resting and playing and so tomorrow I expect them with a lot of changes to prepare the game against Partizan as if they get qualified they will receive important money for the club. Another important news is that the best player and the best goalscorer of the league season and the current best goalscorer with 6 goals already have left the team to join Al Shabab (Carlos JR). I cannot see them prepared to beat Boavista that is very fresh as some players only made 1’game this season and very motivated after a 3-0 win.
