Dortmund is definitely my choice for this night as they have some top players in form and this could be a chance for them to get back onto the winning track after failing in Gladbach at weekend.

Sporting is champion of Portugal but their squad is very changed in the meanwhile and since Bruno Fernandes left to Manchester its hard to the one man who stands and shows such a level of football. Sporting have terrible results when playing against German teams in Champions League - losing 11 games of 14 attempts! The poor attack is the problem right now in Sporting and one of the reasons why Sporting lost 1-5 to Ajax in the first match of Champions League. Sporting will fight directly with Besiktas for 3rd position but in a direct clash, since I don't think Sporting can affect Dortmund in a direct clash. Ajax and Dortmund are simply level above those rivals.
Haaland will most likely start here and knowing his ambition this is a good chance to shine again in the big stage against lower-level Sporting. Predicting 3-1 or 3-0 result.
