Even Barcelona is sitting at 8th place they are just 2 points behind Real Madrid and this season the LA Liga is wide open in my opinion but we must be honest, Barcelona has looked awful this season and when they faced good teams they got easily outplayed by Bayern Munchen and Atletico Madrid and today they will face their big rival Real Madrid. Coach Koeman doesn't seem to fit this Barcelona team, they play poorly and one big problem for Barcelona is that they are physically a weak team, that's why they struggle against the good teams who are more physical than them. One bad news for Barcelona is that they have looked awful on the road and the reason why they are in 8th place is because of their home results, they have 4 wins and 1 draw in the LA Liga at home but like I said, when they got tested against a good team they lost 0:3 at home against Bayern Munchen and it could have been easily 5 or 6:0. For this game Barcelona are likely to miss Araujo, Pedri, Braithwaite, Moussa and Dembele.
Real Madrid is sitting at 3rd place and are 3 points behind the leader Real Sociedad, but Real Madrid has less one game played so everything is looking good for Real Madrid even they aren't playing that well lately too, in the last two LA Liga games they had a draw and a road loss but the team bounce back with a big win in the Champions League by 5:0 against Shakthar what should give them a big confidence boost for this game. Real Madrid has shown some up's and down's performance in the start of the season but they have looked better on the road than at home and they like to play in Camp Nou, in their last 8 trips to Barcelona's Camp Nou they only lost 1 time. For this game Real Madrid has Jovic, Isco, Bale and Ceballos all doubtful for the game but likely to miss the game.
It's THE CLASSICO and this games usually are hard to predict but overall I think Real Madrid is a bad match-up for Barcelona, Real Madrid is very physical and Barcelona doesn't fit well against those type of teams like we saw against Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munchen and also Barcelona is a team who commits too many mistakes on defense, bad choices but also mental mistakes against a Real Madrid team can be very costly, especially that trio in front with Benzema, Rodrygo and Vinicius JR can put Barcelona defensive line in big trouble. Overall I don't see Real Madrid has the underdog here, I think they are the slight favourite here and I don't see them losing here, I think they will get at least 1 point from this game even if not the 3 points.
