Vizela were one of the best teams of the last season on 2nd League coached by the amazing Alvaro Pacheco who won the award of best coach of 2nd league. In 2 seasons with Alvaro Pacheco they achieved 2 consecutive promotions, from 3rd to 2nd and from 2nd to the 1st League almost with the same players. In those seasons, 3 with the current one they had Kiko Bondoso, Samu, Zag, Aidara and Koffi. They play very well with a lot of dynamic when they have the ball and pressing very high without the ball. At home they are a really tough team to beat altough they lost 4-0 against Porto in the last week, but Porto did a perfect game. At home they almost beat or stop Benfica as they only suffered the 1-0 in the last minute of the game because Samu slipped by using the wrong pitons. For the Portuguese Cup they made amazing games so far and in the last 2 games didn't suffer any goal, they beat Vitoria Setubal by 2-0 as away and Estrela da Amadora by 2-0 at home. They will create a lot of problems to this inconstant Braga and I really think that they will go through the next phase of the cup. The striker Schettine will miss this game for receiving red card against Porto but will be replaced by Cassiano who was the best goalscorer of the 2nd League in 2020/2021. They are very similar in terms of characteristics and I honestly prefer Cassiano by his aggressivity.

Braga are still trying to consolidate themselves as the 4th best club in Portugal and trying season by season to be on the same level as the top 3 teams in Portugal (Sporting, Porto and Benfica), but they have a long road ahead and this season is an example of that. They are already 13 points behind Porto and Sporting what hadn't happened for several years at this time of the season. They are being very irregular, they made 2 good games this season against Estoril and Vizela, the rest they failed in every game. They were almost eliminated in Europa League in probably the weakest group of the competition. They were already eliminated on League Cup with a terrible defeat by 5-1 against Boavista, the worst defeat ever against Boavista. They have a lot of important players injured like Galeno who is the most decisive player of Braga and one of the most decisive players playing in Portugal, David Carmo who targeted by Barcelona in the last summer market, Vitinha in doubt and Vitor Tormena the centre-back with more quality in possession. They will need to be in their best level to beat this Vizela as away and they just made 2 good games so far so I don't see Braga winning this game. Another reason for this to be happening to Braga is the fact that the President of Flamengo is in Portugal trying to buy Carlos Carvalhal and it seems to be agitating the team.
