The Conference League is back, Roma will challenge Vitesse in Holland in the first leg of the round of 16. The goal for the Giallorossi is to close the qualification already this evening. Not to be underestimated are the Dutch who beat Tottenham 1-0 at home in the group but Mourinho 's team arrives at the challenge after 7 consecutive useful results in the league and wants to improve the roadmap in Europe as this competition is something where Roma are amongst favourites to win. The home team qualified after beating Rapid Vienna in the playoffs but are nothing special in this season. Their last game was interrupted in league because of fans riots. Vitesse were losing 0-1 against Sparta Rotterdam untill 85th minute in that match. The Special One will have all the men available for this game, except Spinazzola who continues his recovery. The Albanian defender will be disqualified for the match in Udine but is available tonight in Holland, as will Mkhitaryan who will play in midfield with Cristante. Probable turnover on the left wing where Vina will return , while on the right there will be the usual Karsdorp. Behind Abraham and Zaniolo there will be Pellegrini. The English center forward Abraham with a goal this evening would reach Batistuta at 21 in his first season in the Giallorossi so this is also on cards of motivation in away team. Roma have won 8 of their last 11 away games in European competition and also Roma have scored in every of their last 18 away games in European competition. So, Roma have only lost 1 in their last 9 matches in all competitions.I think Italians will be too much for Vitesse already in the first leg. Odds are perfect for an away victory, some kind of 2-1 win looks like to me.
