Lille beat Clermont at home 4-0 and confirmed that they are in very good shape over the past few weeks. Lille started to play with much more freedom and i think this style of play is more suited for their players, as majority of the team is young and likes to play more open football. Canadian striker David is having a great season so far and its matter of time when we will see him in "big" club. St.Ettiene is playing well and is finally out of the relegation zone, in the last round they beat a direct competitor for the survival of Metz at their stadium. Honestly they were a little lucky to win some games so I think it’s time for luck to turn their backs on them. St.Ettiene is coming without a couple of players, primarily defenders, Mangala has been suspended while Macon is injured which could be a problem against Lille's fast players. The guests will surely try to win at least one point in this difficult away game, although they have not won against Lille in the last 6 games, they have gone 3 times with one point. Although Lille expects a rematch of matches from Chelsea in the Champions League (Chelsea won London 2-0), I think Lille will take this match seriously because they certainly want to play next season in European competitions. I dont expect goals here so Lille to win and under 2.5 goals looks like a good bet here.
